About the Role

As a Senior Windows Administrator at Hudson Manpower, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the company's Windows-based systems and applications. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of these systems, which are vital to the company's operations. You will work closely with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, develop and implement system updates, and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows administration, with experience in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. You will also have a solid understanding of network protocols, infrastructure services, and security principles. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams and external clients to provide expert advice and support on IT solutions that align with business objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows server environments, including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. You will ensure that systems are patched, up-to-date, and secure, and provide technical support for Windows-based applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring applications are optimized for performance and availability.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Windows platforms and applications
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and IT resources
  • Respond to and mitigate security incidents
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, processes, and service records
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal teams and external clients, collaborating on IT solutions that align with business objectives
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to systems and processes

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in Windows administration, including expertise in managing Windows Server environments and supporting Windows-based applications
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure services, and security principles
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with IBM FileNet and DataCap implementation
  • Familiarity with FileNet upgrade and IBM FileNet ICN
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Certification in Windows administration or related field
