About the Role

The Senior/Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions, is a critical extension of Remote's clients' HR teams, responsible for navigating the intricate paths of global employment with unmatched speed, expertise, and precision. As part of the Lifecycle team, you'll work closely with clients to manage employee exits, provide expert guidance on HR matters, and deliver delightful customer experiences. Your work will directly influence Remote's ability to sustain and extend its compliance coverage, continuously enhance customer journeys, and significantly increase operational capacity.

As a Lifecycle Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of work, ensuring every interaction is fast, intuitive, and profoundly impactful.

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions, prioritizing a superior offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their employees
  • Provide sound guidance and manage clients' requests on various HR matters, including termination, resignation, and transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practices
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce management and employee relations discussions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to process improvements and initiatives in line with Remote's strategic goals and values
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of global employment laws, regulations, and best practices, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize HR processes
  • Create and maintain accurate, detailed records of employee exits, including documentation of offboarding procedures and client communications
  • Provide first-level Employee Relations support, guiding clients through workplace concerns and coordinating appropriate resources when needed
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, building trust and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying current with industry best practices and Remote's core values

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a global or international context
  • Strong background in employee relations, HR operations, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • Strong understanding of global employment laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and other relevant technologies
  • Certification in HR or a related field (e.g., SHRM, HRCI)
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with remote teams or in a distributed work environment
  • Familiarity with automation and AI technologies, particularly in HR contexts
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Certification in a specialized area of HR, such as employment law or talent management
