About the Role
Engine is seeking a seasoned Senior/Staff Product Manager to lead the development of its flights post-booking ecosystem. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and development of a suite of post-booking modification capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of the travel industry, particularly in the area of flights, as well as experience with AI-native product thinking and strategic enhancements.The successful candidate will have a strong background in product management, with a focus on travel innovation and customer experience. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, product operations, customer experience, and sales to bring initiatives to life. Your ability to drive acquisition, activation, and retention through thoughtful experimentation and strategic enhancements will be crucial to the success of this role.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to the product strategy, roadmap, and development for a suite of post-booking modification capabilities that align with Engine's mission
- Help grow Engine's Flights business by building world-class flexibilities into the customer experience
- Enhance and contribute to partnerships that enhance the value of Engine, working closely with Product and Business Development teams
- Work closely with design, engineering, product operations, customer experience, and sales to bring initiatives to life from initial ideation through post-launch
- Collaborate with other PMs within Travel or related product teams to drive alignment and shared goals
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the flights post-booking customer journey, airline connectivities, and industry expertise
- Leverage AI tools and automation to optimize workflows and personalize experiences
- Drive cross-functional systems from zero and scale them with a long-term lens
- Mentor and elevate the people and teams around you, demonstrating natural leadership and mentoring instincts
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience with a deep focus on flights travel, preferably with post-booking modification experience
- Understanding of flights post-booking customer journey, airline connectivities, and deep industry expertise
- Comfort building cross-functional systems from zero and scaling them with a long-term lens
- Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to optimize workflows and personalize experiences
- Strategic thinker who's also execution-obsessed, with the ability to zoom out and zoom in with equal comfort
- Natural leadership and mentoring instincts, with the ability to elevate the people and teams around you
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams

- Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics
