About the Role
As a remote SEO & Digital Marketer, you will play a crucial role in maximizing organic search visibility and driving direct bookings for a growing portfolio of boutique guest farms. This part-time, independent contracting role requires 3-4 hours per week to start, with potential to scale as the portfolio grows. You will take full ownership of local SEO, platform listing optimization, and Google Business Profile management, working closely with the property owner to advise on strategic growth.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical and local SEO, with specific experience in the tourism, hospitality, or luxury short-term rental spaces highly preferred. You will be responsible for auditing, optimizing, and managing regional website content to ensure high organic rankings for travel, tourism, and boutique accommodation keywords.
What You Will Do
- Audit and optimize regional website content for high organic rankings
- Implement local SEO best practices to drive traffic into the property's booking systems
- Optimize copy, keyword integration, and photo layouts across major booking channels
- Manage Google Business profiles to dominate local search and map results
- Track digital analytics and search performance to advise on strategic growth
- Drive click-through and conversion rates through targeted digital marketing efforts
- Collaborate with the property owner to develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing and SEO
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing efforts
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in technical and local SEO, with specific experience in the tourism, hospitality, or luxury short-term rental spaces highly preferred
- Expertise in Google Business Profile optimization and search algorithms
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and able to translate digital metrics into actionable sales growth
- Proactive, independent worker who can execute a digital strategy with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website development
