About the Role

The SEO Manager position at George Dimov CPA is a senior individual-contributor-plus-leadership role that entails owning and executing the full SEO function. This includes technical, on-page, and off-site strategies across a portfolio of financial, tax, and accounting websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving organic growth, leading a team of SEO specialists, content writers, and outreach coordinators, and collaborating closely with development, content, and analytics teams.

As a key member of the team, the SEO Manager will play a critical role in shaping the company's digital presence and ensuring that its online properties are optimized for maximum visibility and engagement. This involves staying ahead of algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

What You Will Do

  • Own and execute the end-to-end SEO roadmap across technical, on-page, and off-site pillars
  • Set measurable OKRs for organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, and conversion
  • Manage and mentor SEO specialists, content writers, and outreach coordinators
  • Collaborate closely with development, content, and analytics teams to align priorities
  • Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging best practices
  • Lead full technical SEO audits across various website platforms
  • Oversee site structure, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and site performance optimization
  • Implement and govern SEO tracking via Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and other tools
  • Drive on-page optimization across all website properties
  • Build and maintain a robust internal linking strategy
  • Work with content teams to develop SEO-driven briefs and topical authority maps
  • Design and execute ethical off-page SEO strategies
  • Conduct in-depth competitor backlink analysis to identify link gaps and opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and improving keyword rankings
  • Expertise in GA4 and Ahrefs
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with website migrations, domain changes, and CDN or hosting updates
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists and content writers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • English C1 proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, and CallRail
  • Knowledge of JavaScript rendering issues, metadata, and analytics scripts
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, and Next.js/React.js websites
  • Certification in SEO or digital marketing
  • Experience with local SEO initiatives and citation management
