About the Role
The SEO Strategist is a key player in Directive's Performance division, responsible for developing and implementing tailored SEO strategies for clients. As a client-facing role, the successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their marketing goals and develop custom strategies to achieve them. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, including content writers and designers, to execute campaigns and drive results.The SEO Strategist will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in search engine optimization and applying this knowledge to drive client success. This includes leveraging tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to analyze data and inform strategy. The role requires a deep understanding of the intersection of SEO and content marketing, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement customized SEO strategies for clients, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including content writers and designers, to execute campaigns and drive results
- Work closely with clients to understand their marketing goals and develop tailored strategies to achieve them
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in search engine optimization and apply this knowledge to drive client success
- Analyze data to inform strategy and measure campaign effectiveness
- Develop and present reports to clients, showcasing campaign results and providing recommendations for future strategy
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to set goals and objectives for clients, and to develop strategies to achieve them
- Utilize project management tools, such as Asana, to ensure timely and effective execution of campaigns
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in search engine optimization, with a proven track record of driving results for clients
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research and link building
- Experience with SEO tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform strategy
- Experience with content marketing, including content creation and campaign execution
- Strong understanding of the intersection of SEO and content marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience with paid media, including Google Ads and social media advertising
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in SEO or related field, such as Google Analytics certification
