Job Description
About the Role
The ServiceNow Administrator/Developer role at Dedalus is a key position that supports change management projects and solves business problems using information technology related to the global Information Management System (IMS) of the Dedalus Group. As a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's systems and processes. You will work closely with various departments to identify organizational improvements, design systems to implement changes, and maintain existing tools and interfaces.The role requires excellent technical skills, including experience with JavaScript, XML, and HTML, as well as a strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL best practices. You will be responsible for monitoring the health, usage, and compliance of ServiceNow and its applications, assisting in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, and coordinating application and platform upgrades.
What You Will Do
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
- Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes
- Understand how ServiceNow can enable the client to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits
- Coordinate application and platform upgrades
- Develop systems integrations and process automation
- Configure and maintain SLA, Catalog items, and their associated workflows
- Provide general support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications
- Work closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices
- Configure role-based workspaces and AI Skills
- Take the lead in identifying organizational improvements needed and designing systems to implement those changes
What We Are Looking For
- Experience using JavaScript, XML, and HTML
- ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher)
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a ServiceNow Administrator/ServiceNow Developer
- Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, and knowledge management applications
- Working and configuration knowledge of Workspaces
- Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification preferred (ITIL v3-v5 Certification)
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software application-related problems
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures, and criteria
Nice to Have
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues
- Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
- Working experience on AI Skill configuration
