About the Role
The ServiceNow Cloud Migration Lead is a critical position at Müller`s Solutions, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end migration of a ServiceNow instance from an on-premise environment to ServiceNow on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, a structured approach to delivery, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud migration projects.Day-to-day, the ServiceNow Cloud Migration Lead will be responsible for assessing the current on-premise instance, designing the migration approach, and managing the cloning, reconfiguration, and connectivity of the new cloud-based instance. This will involve close collaboration with the client's infrastructure and security teams, as well as internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
The role is part of Müller`s Solutions' Platform Engineering team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative and effective solutions to clients. The team is known for its collaborative and dynamic environment, where professionals can grow and develop their skills.
What You Will Do
- Lead the end-to-end migration planning, including discovery, architecture, cutover, and post-migration validation
- Conduct a full assessment of the current on-premise instance, including version, customizations, integrations, and data volume
- Design the migration approach, including clone-based lift, upgrade alignment, or phased rollout
- Manage ServiceNow cloning, MID Server reconfiguration, and GCP connectivity
- Audit and remediate custom scripts, flows, and integrations pre-migration
- Coordinate with the client's infrastructure and security teams on network, SSO, and firewall changes
- Execute UAT support, regression testing, and hypercare post-go-live
- Produce migration runbooks, risk registers, and cutover plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform
- At least one completed cloud migration (on-prem → cloud)
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture: MID Servers, instance cloning, upgrade paths
- Hands-on experience with GCP networking concepts (VPC, Cloud Interconnect, DNS)
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer)
- Integration experience: REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO/SAML
- Familiarity with ServiceNow PDI, instance hierarchy, and clone exclusion rules
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- CSA or CIS certification
- Experience with ServiceNow Health Scan and ATF (Automated Test Framework)
- Prior work in KSA/GCC enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud-based project management tools
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
