About the Role

The SFCC Backend role at PradeepIT Consulting Services is a remote opportunity for experienced developers to work on headless commerce projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop headless commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews to ensure high-quality products
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for SFCC projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the improvement of the development process
  • Develop and deploy scalable and secure commerce solutions using SFCC
  • Work closely with the Technical Architect to understand technical designs and estimates
  • Plan and estimate frontend tasks and assign tickets to respective developers
  • Modify Business Manager, configure slots, assets, promotions, coupons, and campaigns
  • Facilitate communication between developers to resolve blocking issues and keep the team moving forward

What We Are Looking For

  • 4 to 5 years of professional experience in web application development as a backend commerce developer
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Developer certification
  • Experience working in a senior member or technical lead role on SFCC implementations with SFRA or SG Controllers
  • Strong knowledge of SFCC backend development, including SCAPI and OCAPI
  • Experience with headless commerce implementations and Site Genesis
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment automation in an SFCC environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially navigating multiple time zones and cultural differences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other commerce platforms, such as Magento or Shopify
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Docker
  • Certification in other Salesforce products, such as Sales or Marketing Cloud
