About the Role
The Odia Talent Hub at Welo Global is a unique opportunity for individuals with native Odia fluency to contribute to the development of more accurate and inclusive AI systems. As a contributor, you will be part of a global network of linguists, language enthusiasts, and culturally aware individuals working together to shape the future of AI. Your role will involve working on various projects, including annotation, evaluation, and prompt creation, all aimed at improving the quality of AI training data.The day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the project, but you can expect to work on tasks such as annotating or labeling text, images, or audio to train AI systems. You will also have the opportunity to evaluate search results, ads, or chatbot responses for quality and relevance, ensuring that the AI systems are performing at their best. With the flexibility to work remotely and choose your projects, you will have the autonomy to manage your workload and contribute to the development of smarter, more human-centered AI.

What You Will Do
- Annotate or label text, images, or audio to train AI systems
- Evaluate search results, ads, or chatbot responses for quality and relevance
- Create and test prompts to improve large language models (LLMs)
- Ensure content reflects cultural, linguistic, or industry-specific accuracy
- Work on projects that vary by scope and complexity, all aimed at building more accurate and inclusive AI
- Collaborate with a global team of contributors to achieve project goals
- Utilize digital tools to complete tasks and contribute to project success
- Meet deadlines and manage your workload effectively in a remote environment
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For
- Native or near-native fluency in Odia
- Based in India, with the ability to work remotely
- English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global team
