About the Role
The SharePoint Developer role at goPro Consultancy Group is a full-time, remote position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to develop custom SharePoint solutions for international clients. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SharePoint-based solutions that meet the client's specific needs. Your expertise in SharePoint development will enable the company to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and efficiency for their clients.Day-to-day, you will work closely with the SharePoint management team to identify requirements, develop solutions, and test deployments. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work independently will be essential in this role, as you will be collaborating with junior staff members and providing guidance on SharePoint custom development.
What You Will Do
- Develop custom SharePoint solutions using out-of-the-box and custom coding techniques
- Create data-driven web parts and controls using SharePoint and .NET technologies
- Coordinate with the SharePoint management team to identify requirements and develop solutions
- Collaborate with junior staff members to provide guidance on SharePoint custom development
- Develop and deploy custom SharePoint applications and solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint development
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the development process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint trends and technologies
- Develop and maintain documentation of SharePoint solutions and customizations
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint custom site development and deployment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SharePoint 2016/2019, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint REST
- Minimum 2 years of experience in C#, .NET Core, React, Typescript, NPM, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
- Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps is a plus
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and development best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Certification in SharePoint development or related fields
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
