About the Role

Pathway Solutions GmbH is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to shape the core of their platform, focusing on Shopify API GraphQL integrations and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot 3 on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services
  • Take full ownership of new feature development from concept to deployment
  • Solve complex problems in platform scalability and API integrations
  • Ensure reliability and performance of production environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with AI coding tools and willingness to drive AI adoption
  • Strong expertise in designing and consuming Shopify GraphQL APIs
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP

  • Experience with Excel and willingness to learn
