About the Role

Pathway Solutions GmbH is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to shape the core of their platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot 3 on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services
  • Take full ownership of new features from concept to deployment
  • Solve complex challenges in platform scalability and ensure speed and excellence
  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
  • Strong command of Java and Spring Boot framework
  • Experience with API design and consumption, particularly Shopify GraphQL APIs
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
