About the Role

Pathway Solutions GmbH is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to drive the evolution of their core platform. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot 3 on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy scalable backend services
  • Take ownership of new features from concept to deployment
  • Solve complex problems in platform scalability and API integrations
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure engineering excellence

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with API design and consumption, particularly Shopify GraphQL APIs
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
