About the Role
As a Shopify Fullstack Developer at Mindera, you will be part of a team that builds innovative ecommerce experiences for some of the world's most renowned brands. Your expertise in Shopify, JavaScript, and digital skills will be crucial in driving the growth of our Australia Enterprise clients and developing specialisms in small to medium ecommerce implementations worldwide. You will work closely with our team to design and develop high-performance, resilient, and scalable software systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients.Our team at Mindera is committed to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration. What You Will Do
- Help hire and upskill new engineers in Vietnam to grow our team's capabilities
- Build ecommerce experiences on Shopify, leveraging themes and headless implementations
- Interact with clients to help them make informed decisions about their ecommerce site setup
- Collaborate with technologists worldwide to solve complex problems and drive project success
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ecommerce and Shopify development
- Contribute to the development of our team's technical capabilities and expertise
- Participate in agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure the security, authentication, and authorization of our ecommerce implementations
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working in a software engineering environment
- Experience with Shopify and its APIs, with a minimum of 3 years
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience working with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, and Tailwind
- Experience with Git and continuous deployment scripting
- Fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively and bring issues and suggestions to the table
- Experience with AWS platforms, technology, and architecture is a plus
- Knowledge of open-source frameworks like Vercel or Hydrogen & Oxygen is desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience facilitating discussions about software architecture
- Knowledge of headless Shopify implementations
- Experience using serverless technology like AWS Lambda
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Solid foundation in writing automated tests to ensure reliability and quality of code
