Short Course Instructor

About the Role

The role entails working closely with the Specialist Team to develop the curriculum, instructional methods, and class operations, ensuring that the course remains innovative and relevant in today's digital landscape. You'll also be responsible for guiding and coaching students' learning development, providing meaningful and prompt constructive feedback, and assisting them in building a compelling final project that demonstrates their learning capacity.

What You Will Do

• Conduct classroom instruction and lesson planning aligned with the existing syllabus
• Collaborate with the Specialist Team to develop the curriculum, instructional methods, and class operations
• Demonstrate mastery of the content and teaching skills of the subject being taught
• Determine the individual training needs of students and provide learning materials, supplementary resources, and activities to facilitate student learning
• Guide and coach students' learning development by giving meaningful and prompt constructive feedback
• Administer oral, written, or performance activities to assess students' progress
• Assist students in building a compelling final project that demonstrates their learning capacity
• Supervise and monitor students' use of necessary tools and software
• Implement classroom management techniques to promote critical thinking skills, strong work attitudes, and positive life values in students
• Prepare and maintain student-related reports and records, including attendance rolls, grades, and training activity details

What We Are Looking For

• At least 2 years of professional industry experience
• Extensive knowledge of relevant industry software/tools and current trends
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a remote setting and collaborate with a team
• Passion for sharing knowledge and empowering others
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to innovate and think outside the box

Nice to Have

• Experience in teaching or training in a digital skills context
• Knowledge of multimedia arts, 3D animation, or other related fields
• Certification in education or a related field
• Experience with online learning platforms and tools
