About the Role
As a Simulation Specialist at Mursion, you will play a crucial role in delivering immersive learning experiences to individuals and organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to portray a variety of perspectives using Mursion's proprietary technology, facilitating reflection and debriefing sessions with diverse learner populations. What You Will Do
- Deliver simulation scenarios to individual learners, using digital avatars and Mursion's proprietary technology
- Portray a wide range of perspectives, including students of varying ages, to facilitate immersive learning experiences
- Facilitate reflection and debriefing sessions with diverse learner populations, providing balanced and fair feedback
- Complete operational session tasks, including providing accurate and fair scores related to learners' performance
- Use and adapt quickly to evolving technology, including Mursion's proprietary platform
- Promote and provide excellent customer service as the session host, welcoming learners, explaining logistics, and answering questions
- Establish and enforce stated policies and expectations with learners, adhering to the Code of Conduct and policies that protect learner privacy
- Proactively and effectively organize and manage availability, session, and other work-related schedules
- Prioritize session delivery, training, meetings, and other tasks assigned as needed, in alignment with stated deadlines and expectations
- Remain compliant with availability policies and protocols based on the Delivery Team assigned
- Adhere to communications expectations and internal policies, protecting Mursion's Intellectual Property
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience as a professional actor, with improv experience strongly preferred
- Work experience outside of professional acting in customer-facing industries or roles, preferably in customer service or hospitality environments
- Ability to work Monday-Friday within the hours of 8AM-12AM EST as requested
- Available to consistently deliver 20-30 hours per week
- Ability to complete a rigorous training plan autonomously and on time (61 hours total) within 4 to 6 weeks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work from a private and quiet work location with a strong and stable internet connection (wired connection required, 20 Mbps download, and 5 Mbps upload)
- Proficiency in Excel and other productivity tools

- Experience working with digital avatars or simulation technology
- Background in education or training, with knowledge of adult learning principles
- Familiarity with customer service software or platforms
- Certification in acting, education, or a related field
