About the Role

The Site Quality Manager role at Hitachi Energy is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail. As a Site Quality Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring all quality-related activities during site execution, ensuring that customer expectations are met and regulatory requirements are complied with. You will work closely with the site management team, contractors, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement quality control plans, and ensure that all site personnel are trained and equipped to perform their tasks effectively.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of quality management principles, experience in managing site quality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What You Will Do

  • Review contractual and local requirements applicable to site quality
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, including the completion system and quality documentation
  • Conduct site quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement risk management plans
  • Provide quality-related training and support to site personnel
  • Coordinate and follow up on site inspections, testing, and validation activities
  • Ensure that all site quality documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, customers, and regulatory authorities
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions as required
  • Coordinate and follow up on the deployment of site quality tools, including the completion system and quality management software

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in site quality management, preferably in the energy or construction industry
  • Proven track record of managing site quality, including experience in developing and implementing quality control plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Experience in working with quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site personnel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and analyze complex data and documents
