Job Description

About the Role

The IS team at Canonical supports and maintains all of Canonical’s IT production services, used by over 60 million Ubuntu users. We are hiring a Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer to drive operations automation to the next level, both in our private clouds and public clouds.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operations automation using open source infrastructure as code software and software development practices like CI/CD pipelines
  • Define infrastructure as code and improve Canonical products by providing critical feedback to developers on how their products operate at scale

Requirements

  • Experience in IT operations automation and infrastructure as code
  • Passion for Linux and technology

  • Experience with Excel
