Sitecore Engineer, Lead Consultant - Remote

About the Role

The Sitecore Engineer will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new features to optimizing existing ones, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest Sitecore releases and best practices.

In this role, you will report to a senior technical lead and will be expected to collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers. Your technical expertise, combined with your ability to communicate complex ideas simply, will be essential in driving project success.

What You Will Do

• Develop overall product planning by contributing to/creating stories for complex features in areas of responsibility
• Organize, lead, and finalize feature review sessions for complex business issues/requirements
• Create the functional design to address complex business processes or issues
• Configure or develop within the Sitecore CMS
• Review and verify operation of new vendor release features
• Leverage Sitecore defect resolution procedures and support tools to resolve issues
• Engage in pair-programming and Test-Driven Development full time
• Provide training for other team members and users
• Assist in developing team bench strength
• Use knowledge of integrated requirements to evaluate proposed software products
• Support the planning, conduct, and review of module and integration testing for projects
• Manage issues and blockers for assigned features and product stories
• Partner with business groups and technical teams to resolve technology issues

What We Are Looking For

• 5 or more years of experience developing and maintaining customizations and websites on the Sitecore CMS platform
• Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) for Headless Sites on Sitecore 10.x
• Experience with React-based clients for Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) for Headless Sites on Sitecore 10.x
• Strong understanding of Sitecore CMS, including its architecture, features, and best practices
• Experience with back-end development, including C#, .NET, and related technologies
• Knowledge of continuous deployment and integration practices
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with ERP applications and integration
• Knowledge of business processes and functional designs
• Experience with issue management and defect resolution
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies
• Certification in Sitecore or related technologies
