About the Role

The SMB Account Executive role at Magic is a unique opportunity for driven sales professionals to leverage their skills in GTM, HubSpot, and sales strategy to drive business growth. As a key member of the sales team, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery to closing and onboarding. Your success will depend on your ability to create value for clients, foster lasting relationships, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

In this role, you will work closely with the sales, support, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success for clients. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and continuously improve sales processes.

What You Will Do

  • Own the full sales cycle, from inbound discovery to follow-up, closing, and successful onboarding
  • Run 15+ discovery calls per week with C-level and Director-level prospects, uncovering pain points and establishing urgency
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Magic's products and services, positioning them to meet the needs of prospects and clients
  • Treat every lead like a valuable opportunity, working 'not now' leads with discipline and creativity until the timing is right
  • Work every deal to completion, following up persistently and maintaining a high level of engagement with prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with sales, support, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success for clients
  • Continuously learn and improve, seeking feedback, applying it quickly, and treating personal growth as an essential part of the job
  • Stay consistent, stay hungry, and maintain a growth mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve and expand the sales pipeline
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the sales pipeline, prioritizing outreach, maintaining deal velocity, and ensuring accurate forecasting

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, subscription services, AI, or outsourcing, with a proven track record of success
  • Expertise in GTM, HubSpot, and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, including prospecting, lead nurturing, and closing deals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve performance
  • Coachability, self-accountability, and a growth mindset, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a high-volume inbound sales environment, with a track record of success in converting leads into sales
  • Familiarity with Adjust and other sales analytics tools, with the ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies
  • Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones and locations
