About the Role
The SMB Product Sales Specialist role at Appspace is a dynamic and entrepreneurial position that involves driving strategy, planning, and executing sales of Appspace's Employee Comms Solution to customers and prospective customers. As a key member of the sales team, you will work closely with strategic partners and the channel community to drive revenue growth through pipeline development and deal-winning activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include targeting accounts, building relationships, and presenting the Appspace story to buyers and partners. - Take a leadership role in driving Appspace Employee Comms sales for your assigned territory
- Target accounts to acquire as new Appspace customers, as well as upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts
- Build and execute on an innovative business plan with strategic partners and the channel community
- Present and demonstrate the Appspace story and Employee Comms capabilities in early sales stages
- Engage with cross-functional resources from Engineering, Marketing, IT, and others as needed to drive Appspace sales
- Grow and convert pipeline from multiple sources, establishing reference customers in the process
- Accurately forecast pipeline development and report on opportunities within your assigned territory
- Negotiate with peers, partners, and customers using a win/win philosophy
- Represent Appspace at partner meetings, trade shows, events, and conferences
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a sales and/or business development role in an information technology capacity
- Deep expertise and proven experience in selling employee comms solutions to typical buyers
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Entrepreneurial thinker with an established skillset in solution and relationship sales
- Proven history of performance in developing and maintaining strong prospect, partner, and customer relationships
- Proficient in team selling approach, with confidence in presenting to senior levels
- Strong technical acumen and ability to learn Appspace's products and services

- Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools
- Knowledge of the digital marketing and tech industries
- Familiarity with SaaS sales and customer success principles
