About the Role
The Social Content Editor position at Ecommerce Media is a key role in the company's creative team. As a Social Content Editor, you will be responsible for editing high-performing video ads for Meta and TikTok, with a focus on short-form, platform-native content. You will work closely with the creative strategists to bring briefs to life and push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of ecommerce. The company values creativity, innovation, and collaboration, and is looking for individuals who share these values. ## What You Will Do - Edit high-performing video ads for Meta and TikTok, with a focus on short-form, platform-native content - Produce a mix of creative formats, including UGC ads, statics, GIFs, motion graphics, and other assets - Work closely with creative strategists to bring briefs to life and push the boundaries of what is possible - Analyze high-performing creative across Meta and TikTok to stay ahead of what's working and apply those insights to your own output - Integrate AI tools and workflows into your process to improve efficiency and creative output - Manage multiple projects across a variety of ecommerce brands simultaneously, hitting deadlines without sacrificing quality - Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new ideas and strategies - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the world of ecommerce and social media - Provide feedback and support to junior team members - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new campaigns ## What We Are Looking For - Experience creating social media and/or paid ad content, ideally within an agency or ecommerce environment - Strong video editing skills for short-form, platform-native content, particularly Meta ads - Competent across a range of formats, including motion graphics and basic graphic design, not just video - Deeply immersed in social platforms, with a strong understanding of what works and what doesn't - Experience using CapCut or equivalent, as well as Premiere Pro for video editing - Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva for graphic editing - A strong portfolio that showcases your creative skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders - A strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the world of ecommerce and social media ## Nice to Have - Experience with AI tools and workflows, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - A background in marketing or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising - Experience working with ecommerce brands, and a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space - A certification in video editing or a related field, such as Adobe Certified Expert - A strong network of contacts in the industry, with the ability to bring new ideas and perspectives to the team ## Benefits and Perks - The opportunity to work with a variety of ecommerce brands and projects - A dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a team that is passionate about creative and innovative marketing strategies - The chance to work with the latest technologies and trends in the world of ecommerce and social media - A strong focus on professional development, with opportunities for training and certification - A competitive salary and benefits package, with a range of perks and incentives - The opportunity to work remotely, with the flexibility to work from anywhere - A strong culture of innovation and creativity, with a team that is always looking for new and better ways to do thingsHow to Stand Out
