About the Role

The Social Media Advertising Strategist will play a crucial role in developing and executing paid social media campaigns for mid-market and enterprise clients. This position will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure alignment with client goals and internal objectives. As a key member of the social media team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a collection of social media accounts, serving as direct support to client contacts, and communicating results to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media advertising platforms, particularly LinkedIn Ads, and be well-versed in programmatic advertising. They will be responsible for building strategies, creating and optimizing budgets, and analyzing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and GA4. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and internal objectives
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts, providing regular updates and insights on campaign performance
  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns, including ad copywriting, targeting, and budget optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns
  • Communicate results to stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and operational partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop targeted advertising campaigns that drive conversions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in social media advertising, including new ad formats and platforms
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM, and work closely with sales teams to drive conversions

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience working in social media advertising, with a focus on paid social media campaigns
  • Deep expertise in LinkedIn Ads, including conversation ads, document ads, and CTM development
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, including LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, and 6Sense
  • Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
  • Experience with audience segmentation, including tiered targeting and job title targeting
  • Proven and measurable success in driving results for mid-market or enterprise clients
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with programmatic advertising, including the use of DSPs and SSPs
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, including Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Experience with social media management tools, including Hootsuite and Sprout Social
  • Certification in social media advertising, including LinkedIn Ads or Facebook Blueprint
