About the Role

The Social Media and Comms Lead role at SecureW2 is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing SecureW2's social media presence, including LinkedIn, and working closely with the PR agency to ensure a cohesive external communications approach. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and curating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to inform future strategy.

SecureW2 is a rapidly scaling cybersecurity startup, and this role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the industry. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with SecureW2's business objectives
  • Manage and maintain SecureW2's social media presence, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Create and curate engaging content, including blog posts, social media posts, and other materials
  • Manage social media campaigns, including paid advertising and organic engagement
  • Analyze performance metrics to inform future strategy and optimize social media presence
  • Work closely with the PR agency to ensure a cohesive external communications approach
  • Collaborate with executives, subject-matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement a social media strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the company's social media presence
  • Coordinate with the content team to deliver press materials and support press releases
  • Prep executives for interviews, panels, or written responses by creating talking points or refining ghostwritten responses

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of the audience and buying committees
  • A track record of building or maturing social programs on LinkedIn, with a focus on technical/B2B brands
  • Very strong short-form writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content that sounds human and useful
  • Basic experience working with PR agencies and press, with a understanding of how to activate employees on social media
  • Ability to bounce between strategy and execution, with a focus on building plans and shipping content
  • Experience with social media analytics tools, with the ability to measure impact and optimize social media presence
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • A strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, with the ability to craft content that is relevant and engaging
