About the Role
The Social Media and YouTube Content Manager role at Podcast Monkey is a remote position that requires a skilled professional to manage the company's YouTube channels, social media content, and digital media workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and implementing social media strategies, managing YouTube channels, and working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. As a key member of the team, the Social Media and YouTube Content Manager will report to the marketing manager and work closely with the content team to develop and publish high-quality content.The role entails day-to-day management of social media content, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analyzing engagement metrics. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the company's YouTube channels, including uploading videos, optimizing video titles and descriptions, and analyzing video performance.
As a remote worker, the Social Media and YouTube Content Manager will be expected to work independently and collaborate with the team using digital tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Notion.
What You Will Do
- Manage and schedule social media content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers
- Analyze engagement metrics and adjust social media strategies accordingly
- Manage the company's YouTube channels, including uploading videos, optimizing video titles and descriptions, and analyzing video performance
- Develop and implement a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing of high-quality content
- Collaborate with the content team to develop and publish blog posts, videos, and other types of content
- Respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze and report on social media and YouTube performance using metrics such as engagement, followers, and views
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement paid social media campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and algorithms to ensure the company's social media presence is optimized
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital content management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Experience with YouTube channel management, including video optimization and analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality content and communicate with the team and audience
