About the Role

The Social Media Growth Lead at Black & White Zebra is a pivotal role responsible for building, engaging, growing, and retaining audiences of senior decision-makers across social platforms. This involves creating and distributing high-performing content that resonates with the target audience, driving visibility, repeat engagement, and measurable audience growth. The successful candidate will own the strategy for how the brand appears across social channels, translating core ideas into content that senior leaders engage with, return to, and build habits around.

The role is critical in connecting social performance directly to subscriber growth by establishing repeatable systems for distribution, engagement, conversion, and retention. The goal is to expand the company's reach, deepen engagement, increase retention, and consistently drive new audience members into owned channels. What You Will Do

  • Translate and distribute content into social formats that are engaging, shareable, and repeatable, capturing and repurposing video, written, audio, and event content.
  • Create short-form, platform-native content across channels, identifying and extracting key moments from editorial, audio, and events.
  • Experiment with emerging formats and platform features to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Execute social growth campaigns across organic, paid, and partner channels, planning and launching campaigns tied to content, events, and thought leadership.
  • Use organic distribution, paid amplification, and partnerships to extend reach and drive audience growth.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and subscriber growth.
  • Build and manage creator and expert partnerships to leverage their audience and expertise.
  • Execute distribution partnerships across platforms, building direct relationships with platform partners.
  • Identify and leverage platform opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Track performance across content, campaigns, and paid channels, analyzing engagement, reach, repeat interaction, and retention data.
  • Optimize formats, timing, targeting, and distribution strategies based on data insights.
  • Continuously test and refine content and campaign approaches to improve performance.
  • Develop and execute strategies that convert social audiences into subscribers, optimizing social-to-subscriber conversion pathways.
