About the Role
Twilio is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join their team. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in the next phase of Twilio's social program, working to rewrite the rules of B2B social media. You will be responsible for creating original, compelling content that builds community and grows awareness and consideration of Twilio. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller who can write with clarity, creativity, and confidence, and is not afraid to test bold new ideas.The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing team to support campaign and content strategy across major launches, integrated campaigns, brand moments, and tentpole events. You will also be responsible for managing Twilio's social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X, as well as owning social analytics, reporting, and competitive insights that shape future strategy.

What You Will Do
- Support campaign and content strategy across major launches, integrated campaigns, brand moments, and tentpole events
- Help manage Twilio's social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X
- Own social analytics, reporting, and competitive insights that shape future strategy
- Manage developer social content
- Work cross-functionally to help manage employee brand social content
- Align with the Brand team to develop engaging, socially-relevant content
- Own the employee advocacy program to help amplify Twilio's story
- Engage and grow the community daily – from developers to decision makers
- Use data to tell the story behind the numbers
- Constantly experiment and test new tactics to reach new audiences
- Contribute to Twilio's mission of building the world's leading customer engagement platform
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a B2B setting
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Experience with short-form video content and the ability to make an audience feel something
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to write with clarity, creativity, and confidence
- Operational sharpness, with the ability to dream big and keep the team moving with process, structure, and follow-through
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to own social analytics, reporting, and competitive insights
- Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered social media management tools
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising, including Facebook and LinkedIn ads
- Experience with influencer marketing and community building
- Familiarity with Twilio's products and services
- Certification in social media marketing, such as Hootsuite or Facebook Blueprint
