About the Role

As a Social Media / Marketing Assistant at Valatam, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with high-quality marketing and social media execution. This is a 100% remote, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects. Your day-to-day tasks will involve creating engaging content, managing content calendars, and coordinating email marketing campaigns.

The role requires a high level of organization, creativity, and attention to detail. You will be working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies that drive results. What You Will Do

  • Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook using Canva
  • Manage content calendars and schedule posts
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and track results
  • Support ad strategy and reporting on performance
  • Execute Social Media Strategies
  • Develop and implement social media content plans
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve client goals
  • Analyze campaign results and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Participate in brainstorms and contribute to the development of new ideas

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish
  • 2-3 years of marketing support or social media experience
  • Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, and analytics tools
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with graphic design and video editing software
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize social media content
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Trello
  • Certification in social media marketing or a related field
