About the Role
The Software Acceleration Associate role at Thryv is a unique opportunity for individuals with 1-2 years of outbound sales experience to transition into software account management. This 6-month program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in SaaS sales and provide a clear pathway to advancement within the company. As a Software Acceleration Associate, you will be working in a high-energy, outbound sales environment, collaborating with experienced sales professionals, and receiving ongoing coaching and training to refine your skills.The role entails working closely with the Software Account Management team to identify, develop, and evaluate high-potential talent. You will be responsible for driving outbound outreach, creating qualified sales opportunities, and executing structured call, email, and LinkedIn engagement strategies. What You Will Do
- Drive outbound outreach to prospective clients and create qualified sales opportunities
- Deliver compelling, value-driven messaging to SMB and mid-market prospects
- Execute structured call, email, and LinkedIn engagement strategies
- Partner closely with SAM leaders and sales partners to refine conversion tactics
- Strengthen your SaaS sales acumen through ongoing coaching, training, and hands-on platform experience
- Demonstrate consistent performance within a structured evaluation framework
- Build and maintain a high-volume pipeline of potential clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Provide feedback and insights to improve sales strategies and processes
What We Are Looking For
- 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in SaaS
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Confidence engaging with decision-makers across phone, email, and social channels
- Ability to manage high volume, handle objections, and build pipeline
- Desire to strengthen full-cycle SaaS sales skills in a closing role
- Comfort working within structured goals, metrics, and performance expectations
- A growth mindset and strong coachability
- Willingness and ability to meet clients face-to-face as you grow your network and unleash sales success
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening and training courses

- Experience with sales tools and software, such as CRM systems
