About the Role

Thryv's Software Acceleration Associate role is a 6-month program designed to fast-track ambitious outbound sellers into full-cycle account management. As a team player, you will work in a high-energy environment, strengthening your SaaS selling foundation while preparing for full-cycle responsibilities. This role matters because it provides a launchpad for career growth, offering hands-on exposure to software account management and the opportunity to develop real selling skills.

As a Software Acceleration Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will be focused on outbound prospecting, targeted outreach, and pipeline generation. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from small to medium-sized businesses, and develop a deep understanding of their needs and pain points.

What You Will Do

  • Own outbound prospecting, targeted outreach, and pipeline generation
  • Qualify opportunities and create momentum for SAM sales cycles
  • Deliver compelling messaging to SMB and mid-market prospects
  • Execute structured call, email, and LinkedIn cadences
  • Collaborate with SAM leaders and sales partners to refine conversion strategies
  • Strengthen your SaaS sales acumen through ongoing coaching, training, and immersion in our platform
  • Demonstrate performance and consistency across a structured evaluation framework
  • Refine your sales skills through real-world selling experiences, not just booking meetings
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and pain points
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform sales strategies and optimize results

What We Are Looking For

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience
  • Confidence communicating with decision-makers via phone, email, and social media
  • Ability to manage volume, objection handling, and pipeline creation
  • Desire to learn full-cycle sales and move into a closing role
  • Comfort with structured goals, metrics, and performance accountability
  • A growth mindset and coachability
  • Willingness and ability to meet clients face-to-face as you grow your network and unleash sales success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
