About the Role
The Software Architect position at Tenstorrent is a critical role that involves leading the definition and development of software stacks for chiplet-based SoCs in automotive ADAS and Infotainment as well as various robotics applications. As a key member of the Automotive and Robotics team, you will work closely with cross-domain teams and partners to align on a software strategy that enables the next generation of open compute architectures. Your expertise in software architecture, operating systems, hypervisors, middleware, and applications will be essential in driving the development of fully enabled software stacks.The role is based remotely out of Munich, Germany, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of technologists who share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. What You Will Do
- Lead the definition and development of software stacks for chiplet-based SoCs in automotive ADAS and Infotainment as well as various robotics applications
- Collaborate with cross-domain teams and partners to align on a software strategy
- Work with customers and partners to define and coordinate how software will enable the next generation of open compute architectures
- Develop and maintain technical relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to the development team
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop solutions
- Work with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and thought leadership content
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and technologies
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on the latest developments
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working in software architecture for automotive and/or robotics
- Strong understanding of software architecture, operating systems, hypervisors, middleware, and applications
- Experience with heterogeneous compute architectures and enabling them with full software support
- Familiarity with software development flows using ISO26262, IEC61508, and ASPICE
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple software development teams to coordinate efforts
- Experience working with customers and partners to align on a software strategy
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with RISC-V CPU architecture
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
