About the Role

The Software Customer Support Specialist role at Campspot is a unique opportunity to join a team of outdoor enthusiasts and software professionals who are passionate about creating an easy-to-navigate and meaningful camping experience for everyone. As a key member of the customer support team, you will be responsible for assisting campground and resort staff with their software-related inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues, and ensuring that they have a positive experience with the Campspot reservation software.

As a customer support specialist, you will be working closely with the software development team to identify and resolve technical issues, and with the sales team to provide product demonstrations and training to new customers.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical support to campground and resort staff via phone, email, and remote desktop demonstration
  • Troubleshoot software-related issues and provide timely and effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the software development team to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to new customers
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Campspot reservation software and its applications
  • Stay up-to-date with new software releases and features
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the customer support team
  • Analyze customer feedback and provide recommendations for software improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Patient and courteous demeanor when working with customers
  • Availability to work a clearly defined shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select major holidays
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in customer service or a related role
  • Proficient in Google Business Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel

  • Experience working in the recreation, hospitality, or tourism industry
  • Experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Knowledge of reservation management software and its applications
