About the Role
Common Room is seeking a skilled Software Engineer, Backend to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly learn about the product, business, and technology, and independently own and execute features.Responsibilities
- Build APIs that other engineers can use to solve customer problems in our product
- Focus on ensuring that our systems are efficient, scalable, and reliable
- Identify and participate in important company-building initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively with other experienced engineers
- Good judgement on tradeoffs and tools needed to solve problems

- Experience with stable technologies and a preference for supported tools
