About the Role
Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to design, prototype, and build full-stack internal tools that enhance productivity and efficiency for its employees. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal users to understand their needs and create intuitive solutions.Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, prototype, and build full-stack internal tools for business-critical use cases
- Consult with different teams to understand their workflows and identify opportunities for improved productivity
- Iterate rapidly based on user feedback to continuously improve tools
- Create intuitive interfaces that simplify complex tasks
- Monitor system reliability, build for operational excellence, and lead incident response when issues arise
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production, full-stack software with a focus on usability
- Experience building and maintaining scalable internal applications and platforms
- Strong skills in modern web development (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go)
- Experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Focus on reliability and iterative improvement
- Excellent communication skills with empathy for user needs
