About the Role
Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer to join its CDN Security team, tasked with securing customer websites by identifying and mitigating malicious traffic. The role involves analyzing traffic patterns, building and operating scalable firewalls, and advancing the state of web security.Responsibilities
- Analyze traffic patterns to identify bad traffic and actors
- Build and operate a scalable, low-latency firewall for millions of websites
- Advance web security through innovative solutions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience handling denial of service attacks
- Knowledge of web servers, network protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP), and distributed systems
- Experience with Go or Lua
