About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the EAA Integrations team at Coinbase, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations across enterprise systems. This will involve working closely with business units and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions, ensuring that integrations run smoothly in production. You will report to the Manager of Engineering (Integrations) and contribute to driving automation strategy and strengthening Workato platform excellence across the company.The EAA Integrations team is responsible for building scalable automation that connects systems, streamlines business processes, and unifies data across the enterprise. As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex integration challenges, applying patterns, governance, and best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in Workato, Salesforce, and Excel will be essential in this role, as you will be designing Workato recipes, frameworks, and connectors, as well as integrating Workato workflows with AI and LLM services.

What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain integrations across enterprise applications using Workato, custom connectors, and automation frameworks.
- Architect scalable automation solutions and solve complex integration challenges using patterns, governance, and best practices.
- Integrate Workato workflows with AI and LLM services to support decision-making, content generation, and data enrichment.
- Build frameworks for incorporating LLMs into business processes with secure and scalable usage.
- Partner with business units and engineering teams to turn requirements into reliable workflows and integrations.
- Build and support ETL and ELT processes through Workato pipelines and data tools.
- Improve architecture, performance, and technical debt across the integration ecosystem.
- Support reviews, deployments, release planning, troubleshooting, and platform guidance.
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of integration development experience across enterprise systems.
- Practical experience with Workato, including recipe development, custom connectors, error handling, and platform governance.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to apply this knowledge in an integration context.
- Experience with AI and LLM services, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other integration platforms, such as MuleSoft or Apache Camel.
- Knowledge of data engineering principles, including data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
- Certification in Workato or another integration platform.
