About the Role

Ramp is seeking a highly motivated and talented frontend software engineer intern to join their team in New York. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing scalable, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces that cater to the needs of growing businesses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into the product development process. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

The role entails working on complex projects, collaborating with colleagues to establish engineering processes, and contributing to the growth and development of the company's tech stack. What You Will Do

  • Develop performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces that solve complex business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer feedback into product development

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date between 2026-2028
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web development principles
  • Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products and features, or a portfolio of side projects
  • Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in React v16+
  • Familiarity with or desire to learn the company's tech stack, including Flask (Python), Elixir, AWS, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
