About the Role

The iOS app is a critical component of Speechify's product suite, and as such, you will play a pivotal role in shaping its future development. You will work closely with the product team to prioritize features, identify areas for improvement, and implement new technologies that enhance the app's functionality and user engagement.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain the iOS app, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with the product team to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and implement new technologies
• Participate in product discussions to shape the future of the iOS app and ensure alignment with the company's mission
• Work on complex app architecture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations
• Actively ship production code, ensuring timely delivery of features and bug fixes
• Engage in technical interviews as part of the hiring process to help build a strong engineering team
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to improve the efficiency of the engineering team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in iOS, Swift, and related technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the app
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and QA, to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience

What We Are Looking For

• Experience working on iOS apps, with a focus on Swift and SwiftUI
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including SOLID principles and multithreading programming
• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure, such as Fastlane, and Git version control systems
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products, with a focus on customer obsession and product thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
