About the Role
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst position at Taylor Corporation is a critical role that entails ensuring the highest quality of web-based applications and document production software. As a key member of the Venture Solutions team, you will be responsible for ongoing functional testing, defect reporting, and analysis, as well as creating detailed test plans and test cases. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that software applications meet the required standards. You will also have the opportunity to work on multiple customer projects, providing you with a diverse range of experiences and challenges.

What You Will Do
- Conduct ongoing functional testing of web-based applications and document production software
- Create detailed test plans and test cases to exercise functionality
- Report, track, and analyze defects
- Communicate progress and results to managers and stakeholders
- Provide second-tier customer support as needed
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects
- Work on multiple customer projects, providing a diverse range of experiences and challenges
- Bring ideas to the team to improve testing processes and overall product quality
- Participate in day-to-day testing activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of software applications
- Assist in the development of test scripts and automated testing tools
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proven capability in the fundamentals of software quality assurance, including test planning, test case creation, and documentation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and relate concepts, findings, and updates to a variety of personnel
- Ability to operate in an individual setting and in collaboration with team members and others across the organization
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments based on business and team priorities
- Familiarity with Waterfall concept and experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience working with confidential and regulated data, such as PHI, PII, and PCI
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA, or similar project management software
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps, or similar products
- Experience with QA of document production software, such as billing statements, EOBs, ANOCs, and invoices
- Understanding of data manipulation and ETL experience
