About the Role
As a Software Quality Engineer at Gurobi Optimization, you'll help enhance software solutions in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain automated test suites for front-end components, particularly end-to-end tests.
- Design, document, and execute manual tests as necessary.
- Monitor CI/CD pipelines to improve the QA process effectiveness.
- Identify and track software defects using issue tracking systems, collaborating with developers for resolutions.
- Contribute to, review, and test documentation for accuracy.
- Act as an escalation contact for the support team.
- Stay updated with trends in the QA ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance focused on test planning, execution, and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of software design and computer science principles.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with the Cypress test automation framework.
- Comfortable writing JavaScript for test automation.
- Understanding of React and REST APIs for frontend tests.
