Solution Architect, Enterprise - Eastern Time Zone

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration with various data sources and targets, including on-premises and cloud databases, data warehouses, and lakehouses. Your analytical skills will be crucial in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and supporting use cases that enable analytics and emerging AI/ML initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Implement and configure Fivetran's data replication connectors across various data sources and targets
• Work with customer stakeholders to define requirements and design architectures that fulfill their needs
• Optimize the performance of Fivetran's platform and product suite
• Troubleshoot issues and support use cases that enable analytics and emerging AI/ML initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Support Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers
• Develop and deliver enablement collateral and training to customer teams
• Ensure seamless integration with various data sources and targets, including on-premises and cloud databases, data warehouses, and lakehouses
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the data replication and analytics space
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve the overall quality of Fivetran's services

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong technical background in data replication, integration, and analytics
• Expertise in various applications, databases, data warehouses, and APIs
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise deployments and cloud-based technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience with Fivetran's platform and product suite is a plus
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance principles
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud deployments
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Certification in a relevant field, such as data engineering or cloud computing
