Solution Architect, Enterprise - Eastern Time Zone

About the Role

The role involves working with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Support Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be vital. You will also be responsible for producing enablement collateral and training teams to adopt new software applications, ensuring a smooth transition to production environments.

As a Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of this mission, working with customers to unlock the full potential of their data and drive business growth through data-driven initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Fivetran platform and product suite for top enterprises.
• Define requirements and work with customer stakeholders to fulfill their needs, ensuring seamless data pipelines and integration with various applications and databases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Support Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers.
• Produce enablement collateral and train teams to adopt new software applications, ensuring a smooth transition to production environments.
• Optimize implementations through performance tuning and offer best-practice advice on source and target setup.
• Troubleshoot issues and support use cases where trusted, well-governed data pipelines enable analytics and emerging AI/ML initiatives.
• Work with customers to integrate Fivetran's data replication connectors and ensure data activation workflows are in place.
• Liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders to triage a wide range of topics, providing expert solutions and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data replication, integration, and cloud computing, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in Fivetran's services.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong expertise in digital architecture, data warehouses, and cloud computing, with experience in implementing and optimizing data replication connectors.
• Experience working with various applications, databases, and APIs, including on-premises and cloud databases, and data warehouses/lakehouses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert solutions.
• Experience in producing enablement collateral and training teams to adopt new software applications.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security principles, with experience in ensuring data pipelines are well-governed and secure.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Fivetran's products and technologies, including Fivetran SaaS, Hybrid Deployment, and HVR (self-hosted) architectures.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in data replication, integration, and cloud computing, such as AI/ML and data activation workflows.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
• Certification in data governance, security, or related fields, such as CIPP or CISM.
