About the Role

The Fivetran platform is designed to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity, and as a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in delivering this promise to our clients. You will be responsible for optimizing the implementation of our platform, ensuring that it is performing at its best, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Your expertise in data replication, APIs, and data warehouses will be essential in driving the success of our clients.

Fivetran's Services team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and as a Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of this team. You will be working closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our clients receive the best possible support and guidance in their data replication journey.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Fivetran platform and product suite for enterprise clients
• Define requirements and work with customer stakeholders to design and implement data replication architectures that meet their needs
• Optimize the performance of the Fivetran platform, ensuring that it is running efficiently and effectively
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support to customers, working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve problems quickly
• Develop and deliver training and enablement materials to customers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to successfully use the Fivetran platform
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Product Managers, to ensure that customer needs are being met and that the Fivetran platform is being used to its full potential
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data replication, APIs, and data warehouses, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in the Fivetran platform
• Develop and maintain documentation of customer implementations, including architecture diagrams and configuration details
• Work closely with the Product team to provide feedback and input on the development of new features and functionality

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data replication, APIs, and data warehouses
• Strong technical skills, including experience with Fivetran, APIs, and data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
• Experience working with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Strong understanding of data replication architectures and technologies, including change data capture and data transformation
• Experience working with enterprise clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Fivetran's Fivetran SaaS, Hybrid Deployment, and HVR (self-hosted) architectures
• Knowledge of on-premises and cloud databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Experience working with data transformation and data activation workflows
• Strong understanding of data governance and security principles, with experience implementing data protection policies and procedures
• Experience working with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
