About the Role
As a Solution Architect at Fivetran, you will play a critical role in helping customers establish secure network connectivity. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing secure network architectures that enable Fivetran to reliably exchange data with customer environments. You will work closely with customer security, network, and platform teams to design solutions using various technologies such as PrivateLink, VPNs, and SSH tunneling.The role requires a deep understanding of network security and the ability to guide customers through architectural decisions, security tradeoffs, and implementation details. You will collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Support, Customer Success, Field Sales teams, Product, and Engineering, to ensure customer connectivity requirements are met efficiently and securely.

What You Will Do
- Design and implement secure network architectures for customers
- Collaborate with customer security, network, and platform teams to design solutions
- Guide customers through architectural decisions, security tradeoffs, and implementation details
- Work with internal teams to ensure customer connectivity requirements are met efficiently and securely
- Develop and maintain documentation of network architectures and designs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in network security
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations to discuss network architecture and design
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design
- Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies
- Experience with cloud-based network architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of PrivateLink, VPNs, and SSH tunneling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with Fivetran's SaaS and Hybrid Deployment Models
- Knowledge of secure connectivity patterns and authentication mechanisms
- Experience with bastion hosts and proxy agents
- Certification in network security or architecture (e.g., CISSP, CCIE)
