About the Role
As a Solution Engineer at Yubico, you will play a critical role in establishing technical credibility and confidence with prospective clients. You will work closely with sales representatives and channel partners to define and communicate how Yubico's products can best achieve customers' goals. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills, who is passionate about cybersecurity and making a real impact.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve building strong relationships with prospects, establishing technical credibility, and advancing deals. You will also work closely with the sales team to strategize and achieve target sales quotas. As a subject matter expert on Yubico's products and ecosystem, you will be responsible for communicating complex technical information to clients and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do
- Establish yourself as a resident subject matter expert on Yubico's products and ecosystem
- Strategize with sales representatives to help achieve target sales quotas
- Build strong relationships with prospects and establish technical credibility to advance deals
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and look for opportunities to expand their product usage and improve their security posture
- Build and deliver successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs), deployment planning, and technical consulting engagements
- Actively communicate with engineering and marketing teams to stay up-to-date on evolving customer requirements
- Continually assist with solutions development to expand to new target markets and industries
- Improve the customer experience through conferences, workshops, and written documentation
- Care about contributing to an amazing work culture and environment
- Support and be comfortable with the rapid, unpredictable nature of a young innovative company
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in roles that require direct technical customer interaction, such as Solutions Engineering or Pre-sales background
- Knowledge of commonly used security technologies and protocols, including two-factor authentication, IAM, Single Sign-On, VPN, and various authentication protocols (FIDO)
- Experience working with sales teams to achieve target sales quotas
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with global teams and customers
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the IT-security space
- Knowledge of cloud-based security solutions
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
