About the Role

The Solutions Architect position at Axiata Digital Labs is a pivotal role that entails being the primary technical contact for Axonect API Manager for both existing and new clients in Indonesia. This involves a deep understanding of digital skills and the ability to work remotely, ensuring seamless communication and project management across different stakeholders. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and technical excellence.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include handling client communications related to technical and program management aspects, working closely with the program management team to deliver solutions involving Axonect APIM, and representing Axonect APIM in various marketing and sales events. The role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, particularly in distributed systems, and experience in solution architecture.

Given the nature of the role, a strong understanding of both local and international markets, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills in English and the local language, is essential. The ability to drive engineering teams technically to deliver large-scale implementation projects for APIM and various solution extensions is also crucial.

What You Will Do

  • Be the primary technical contact for Axonect API Manager for existing and new clients in the country.
  • Handle client communications related to technical and program management aspects.
  • Work closely with program management to deliver solutions involving Axonect APIM.
  • Do presentations and demos of Axonect APIM to existing and potential clients.
  • Represent Axonect APIM in various local and international marketing/sales events.
  • Drive engineering teams technically to deliver large-scale implementation projects for APIM.
  • Lead the delivery of various CRs (Change Requests).
  • Drive the delivery of various solution extensions built on top of the generic APIM product.
  • Lead/mentor a team of engineers technically.
  • Work closely with the product organization for matters related to clients/solutions.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution architecture-related role.
  • Broad knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Good understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in both English and the local language.
  • Experience in technical and business stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage vendor submissions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Participation in open-source projects or personal coding projects.
  • Certification in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect).
