Solutions Architect

About the Role

As a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues, you'll embody the traits of a technical expert, product evangelist, and thought leader in applied AI. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing a deep understanding of customer problems, mapping them to Cohere solutions, and working closely with partners to own the technical relationship with stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Develop a deep understanding of customer problems and map them to Cohere solutions
• Work closely with partners as the trusted technical advisor who owns the technical relationship with stakeholders
• Increase the adoption of Cohere products, both internally and externally
• Gather valuable insights and feedback from customers to help shape the future of Cohere products
• Lead the design and deployment of customer pilots that showcase the impact of Cohere technology
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate those into technical solutions
• Take ownership of the customer narrative, serving as the voice of the customer and acting as a liaison between the customer and the product team
• Provide guidance on best practices for using Cohere and identify areas for improvement within the platform
• Cultivate technical champions within customer organizations to drive adoption and gather feedback to enhance Cohere products
• Develop and document processes to enable the solutions architect team and adjacent teams to scale effectively within Cohere

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of customer-facing technical pre/post sales Solutions Architect/Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer/Digital Strategy Consultant experience
• A passion for Generative AI and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Generative LLMs and AI technologies
• Familiarity with foundational ML concepts, such as training and evaluation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to toggle seamlessly between technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with Excel and other business intelligence tools
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and the ability to design and deploy complex solutions
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI technologies, such as natural language processing and computer vision
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience working in a startup environment and ability to contribute to a rapidly growing team
• Strong network of contacts within the industry, with the ability to leverage these relationships to drive business growth
