You will guide banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions through modernization and digital transformation, using your technical expertise, understanding of cloud and secure software delivery, and strong customer empathy to connect platform capabilities to risk, compliance, and business outcomes. Reporting to a regional Solutions Architect Manager and partnering closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you will own technical evaluations and serve as the voice of these customers back to Product Management. Your first year will focus on driving successful GitLab platform adoption in commercial financial services accounts across time zones in North America, influencing revenue growth through solution selling, and building long-term, trust-based relationships that highlight GitLab's differentiated position in an AI-driven DevSecOps landscape for regulated industries.

The role is part of a high-performance culture driven by values and continuous knowledge exchange, enabling team members to reach their full potential while collaborating with industry leaders to solve complex problems.

  • Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and support for the technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion within financial services.
  • Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders at financial services organizations, guiding them through GitLab-driven digital transformation.
  • Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in DevSecOps and cloud computing for financial services customers.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI-driven DevSecOps, cloud computing, and financial services regulations.
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture or technical sales role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in DevSecOps, cloud computing, and software development methodologies.
  • Experience working with financial services customers, including banks, fintechs, and other regulated institutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
  • Excellent customer empathy and communication skills, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
## Nice to Have - Experience working with AI-powered DevSecOps platforms, such as GitLab.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Certification in DevSecOps, cloud computing, or a related field.
## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work with a leading AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Professional development opportunities, including training and certification programs.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options.
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.
  • Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.
