About the Role
As a Solutions Consultant at Gainsight, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success by aligning the company's platform capabilities with client business needs. This involves delivering tailored solutions across the customer journey, leveraging your expertise in Salesforce and customer success strategies. You will be part of a dynamic Sales team, reporting to the RVP, Solutions Consulting & Customer Success, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, and Professional Services.The role is based out of the London location, offering a hybrid work environment that balances flexibility with the need for collaboration and client interaction. Your day-to-day activities will be centered around understanding client needs, designing and delivering impactful solutions, and ensuring successful customer outcomes. What You Will Do
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for Gainsight's solutions.
- Design and deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations tailored to both business and technical audiences.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute solution strategies that meet client needs and drive customer success.
- Work closely with the Product team to stay updated on platform capabilities and provide feedback on future developments.
- Develop and present solution storyboards and configure demo environments that address specific client challenges.
- Respond to technical RFPs/RFIs with accurate and timely input, showcasing Gainsight's capabilities and value proposition.
- Support pilots and proof-of-concept engagements with a hands-on, consultative approach, ensuring successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing enablement, product updates, and internal knowledge sharing to maintain expertise and contribute to the team's success.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams like Marketing and Professional Services to align strategies and drive customer success initiatives.
- Travel occasionally for team meetings, training, or company events to foster collaboration and innovation.
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in software pre-sales, consulting, product management, or customer success, with a proven track record of driving customer success and satisfaction.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in business, technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions and value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in complex sales cycles, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and familiarity with data integration workflows and SaaS architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client needs and design tailored solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling narratives and demos.
- Experience with customer success, digital adoption, or community platforms, and a deep understanding of customer-centric strategies.
Nice to Have
- Technical understanding of APIs, relational databases (SQL, Redshift, MongoDB), and SaaS architecture, with the ability to integrate these technologies into solution designs.
- Familiarity with data integration workflows and experience with data analytics tools, enabling the analysis of customer data to drive insights and solutions.
- Working knowledge of customer success, digital adoption, or community platforms, and experience in leveraging these platforms to drive customer engagement and success.
